Justgiving Web sites.

Post  ptc575757 on Fri Feb 13, 2009 3:53 am

Hello Everyone,

My fundraising is going a bit slow, so I'm wondering if my justgiving web page isn't very good! Would anybody mind posting their web page address so I can have a look and get some fresh ideas, it may be of interest to others too, worth a thought.

mine is www.justgiving.com/philipcurwen .

I wanted to keep mine light hearted , but mixed with some Sam facts, and of course there is a link to Sams main page. I have been very conscious over the years not to be overbearing with Sam details otherwise you find people are afraid to access us in any form.

STOP PRESS
I'm coming out!!!!!! well, I've got an article about me, the run and Sams in my local paper next week, should be er! interesting. Only a handfull of people know what I do, so it will interesting to see the reaction from people who know me.

Look forward to seeing yours.

Grandad Phil

PS
The photo of man in the justgiving web page, is not me, it was an old man,who is much older than the svelte elite athlete I have now become, who was just passing at the time my grandson was taking a picture of me. Neutral

Justgiving

Post  JSIMMONDS on Fri Feb 13, 2009 8:48 am

Nice web page Phil - reads really well.
My fundraising is going okay - predominantly due to a £400 boost from my employer, as well as a £500 boost from an inheritance. Without those, I would be floundering a bit though.

Here's mine - www.justgiving.com/jonsimmonds.
And here is my blog charting my progress for those real buzzers out there:

Anyone else use real buzz?

Hello,

Think justgiving is great but you can only adjust them so much. Mine is here but is not that exciting - plus I really do not have any photos of me running - where does everyone get them from?!

Yes I have recently started a blog too....

You'll see that I am starting to get obsessed with the thought of jelly babies per mile :-)

Thanks Ruth for showing everybody me on the treadmill...... you know that really is me. Have a look at Ruths justgiving site to see what I'm talking about everyone.
